Philadelphia markets for sheet metal services provided an opportunity for expansion of SSM Industries, Inc. in 1986 when we opened our full service sheet metal fabrication and installation operation on the East side of Philadelphia.
In 2022 the operation was moved from West Deptford N.J. to a larger, more modern facility in Wilmington, Delaware. Offering the same level of industry expertise as our Pittsburgh branch, including a Midstates Spiral operation, we provide full spectrum air side construction capabilities for the Philadelphia and surrounding market. Accomplishing projects for clients in the Eastern Pennsylvania and Philadelphia/New Jersey areas such as Wyeth-Ayerst, Dupont-Merck, Comcast, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, U.S. Postal Service, CoreStates, and contributing to the Philadelphia cultural progress with projects such as the Eagles Lincoln Stadium, Sony Music Place Amphitheatre & University of the Arts, SSM Industries, Inc. has a vested interest in Philadelphia’s and surrounding areas development and future.
